By creating an account or subscribing to our mailing list, you consent to receive emails from The Dental Bridge. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or visiting thedentalbridge.com/unsubscribe.
We retain your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. Expired listings remain in our database for record-keeping but are not publicly visible. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and role-based database access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us at hello@thedentalbridge.com. We will respond within 30 days.
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this policy. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").
Categories of personal information we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected the following statutory categories: identifiers (name, email address, account credentials, IP address); customer records (mailing address, phone number, payment information processed by our payment processor); commercial information (listings you post and transaction history); and internet or network activity (server logs, pages visited, browser type). We do not collect government identifiers, biometric information, precise geolocation, or the categories of "sensitive personal information" defined by the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Sources. We collect this information directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the Service, from our service providers, and — for our dentist business directory — from publicly available California professional-licensing records.
Business purposes. We use each category for the purposes described in Section 2 (operating the Service, processing payments, sending transactional and subscription communications, providing support, security, and improving the Service).
Disclosure to service providers. In the past 12 months we have disclosed identifiers, customer records, and commercial information to the service providers listed in Section 3 (payment processing, data storage, email delivery, and print/mail fulfillment), each acting on our behalf under a written contract that restricts their use of the information.
No sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months, including with respect to consumers under 16 years of age.
Your rights. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to: (1) know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; (2) delete personal information we collected from you; (3) correct inaccurate personal information; (4) opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information; and (5) receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights — we will not deny you service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a right.
How to submit a request. You or your authorized agent may submit a request by emailing hello@thedentalbridge.com or by writing to the mailing address in Section 11. To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity by matching information in your request against the information in our records before responding, and we may request additional information if we cannot verify you. An authorized agent must provide proof of authorization, and we may require you to verify your own identity directly. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we will notify you and may take up to a total of 90 days.
Directory removal. Our dentist business directory may include business contact information drawn from publicly available California professional-licensing records. You may request removal of your listing at any time using the contact methods above.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures, so no such information is applicable.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
